The Asia-Pacific Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (APOAI) is a regional AI competition for secondary school students across the Asia-Pacific region. It is designed to promote AI education and identify talented students through high-quality, internationally aligned assessments.

APOAI 2026 will be held on 13 June 2026.

APOAI 2026 will be hosted by China.

APOAI is conducted in a distributed format, with contestants participating in person at local venues in their own countries or regions under a unified schedule.

You should contact the Local Organiser in your country or region for information about local selection arrangements and participation procedures.

Participation in APOAI is open to secondary school students nominated by their respective countries or regions.

The Local Organiser is responsible for student selection, local coordination, contest administration, supervision, and communication with the International Organising Committee.

The competition will be conducted on Bohrium, the official competition platform for APOAI 2026.

○Platform access and contestant accounts are scheduled to be distributed on early June 2026.
○Contestant accounts will be provided before the official contest start time for identity verification on the Bohrium platform.The exact distribution schedule will be announced by the APOAI Scientific Committee (SC) in due course.

The syllabus includes both theoretical understanding and practical application of artificial intelligence. A detailed syllabus will be published on the Syllabus page.

The detailed technical environment, including permitted programming languages, libraries, and resources, will be specified in the official Regulations.
