An IOAI-aligned AI competition for high school students in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Asia-Pacific Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (APOAI) is a regional competition for high school students, designed to promote AI education and identify talented students through high-quality, internationally aligned assessments. The competition follows the task design and evaluation framework of the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI). Starting from 2026, APOAI will be held annually, with different countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific region taking turns as host.
APOAI 2026 will be hosted by China and held on June 13, 2026. The competition APOAI 2026 will be conducted in a distributed format, with participants competing simultaneously in their own countries or regions using a unified platform (Bohrium by DPTech) and schedule.
